Getting to know the Executive Board
I have been working in the teaching field for 32 years,
and have been a member of PEAL/OEA/NEA for 31 years. I have worked as an
executive board member for the last 11 years.
While on the executive board, I am helping to advance the image of teachers and educate the community regarding our organization's purposes. I wanted to be on the board because I wanted to be a player in the decision making process for the teacher's local.
The most memorable PEAL related thing that has happened since I have been on the board was being a hole watcher for the Annual PEAL Golf Tournament (hole-in-one).
What have you done major or minor while on the executive board?
I dressed up as the Cat in the Hat at Central Mall.
